The 2009 Nottingham Symphonic Winds 'Strictly Kidsophonic' Saturday morning concert was a great success, selling out weeks before.
More than 600 children and adults, 80 musicians and 40 dancers created a great party atmosphere in Nottingham's Albert Hall for a morning of music on a dance-related theme. The musicians were joined by dancers from the Keyworth School of Theatre Dance and Grant and Rose from the Roy and Mary Knight School of Dance for a spectacular show.
Music was provided by members of the Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra and the Nottingham Wind Ensemble, suitably dressed for the occasion, and conducted by Alistair Parnell. The audience had a part to play, too, joining in with singing and dance moves.
The success of the event over the years and the unprecedented demand for tickets means that the 2010 event will have two performances on December 18th, at 10.30 am and 2pm.
To receive notification of when next year's tickets are available leave your name and phone number on the ticket hotline number at 0115 941 0543.
Tickets will be on sale 3rd September 2010.
