Local Musicians celebrate 25 years!

Local musicians, members of Nottingham Symphonic Winds, are celebrating reacheing their Silver Jubilee this year.
Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra and sister group, Nottingham Wind Ensemble, reach this milestone on November 3rd 2012. They are celebrating in style with a Gala Concert on November 17th at the Albert Hall, Nottingham, with some very special guests. Founder Musical Director, local Sax superstar Alistair Parnell, is returning to play with the Orchestra, Plumtree School Choir provide the voices, and the two groups will be ably led by their respective Musical Directors, keiron Anderson and Claire Franklin. The groups are honoured to have the Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Sir John Peace, in attendance, along with the Lord Mayor of Nottingham and other special guests.
