Sparkling Afternoon Tea Concert

Blackwood Clarinets present an afternoon concert in Attenborough Village Hall with a Sparkling Afternoon Tea included!

Join them on Sunday 3rd March at 3pm and indulge in a slice of one of the finest British traditions, while listening to music including Tico Tico, the Girl with the Flaxen Hair and many others. Sit back, relax and enjoy a selection of finely cut sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and a slice of cake, accompanied by a glass of prosecco, unlimited tea and soft drinks, all served on vintage crockery courtesy of Gladysbee Vintage.

Clarinet Event with Barnaby Robson & Yamaha

Unique Clarinet Event
Windblowers in collaboration with Yamaha are very excited to be hosting this FREE clarinet event led by Barnaby Robson (Sunday 10th March 2019).
Barnaby Robson is Professor of clarinet at the Royal College of Music London, also a past student of the
Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Julliard School New York. Here he won the School Concerto Prize,
performing the Copland Clarinet Concerto in a series of concerts at the Lincoln Center. Barnaby has a wealth of experience as a chamber musician and can regularly be heard on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM broadcasts. He was principal clarinet of The Philharmonia Orchestra until 2013, joining English National Opera Orchestra in 2014 as their principal clarinettist.
