OVERVIEW

The Black Diamond Ebonite mouthpiece features a new internal and external design. These developments offer the musician a full sound, rich in depth and colour, especially in the upper register of the clarinet.

The Black Diamond 13 series variant has a bore designed to play at ‘American pitch’ (A440). This is relevant especially if you play a Buffet R13 style bore design of Clarinet which will benefit from this 13 series internal shaping. 

HD ebonite is a high density ebonite of musical quality produced exclusively for Vandoren. This material is the fruit of years of Vandoren’s research and development. Its physical properties reinforce the natural acoustic qualities of our standard ebonite while optimizing the playing experience and player’s sensation.
